WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Right winger Rickard Rakell scored on a deflection at 5:12 of overtime Monday night to lift the Anaheim Ducks to a 5-4 victory over the Winnipeg Jets and a stranglehold on their first-round Western Conference playoff series.

The Ducks have a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series after Rakell redirected defenseman Francois Beauchemin's point blast for the winner.

For the third straight game in the series, the Jets owned a one-goal lead to begin the third period -- this time 4-3 -- but couldn't protect it.

Ducks center Ryan Kesler scored the tying goal at 17:46 after taking a pass from right winger Jakob Silfverberg and beating Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec.

Wild 3, Blues 0

SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Minnesota's top line of left winger Zach Parise, center Mikael Granlund and right winger Jason Pominville combined to score two goals late in the second period, leading the Wild to a win over St. Louis and a 2-1 lead in the teams' first-round Western Conference playoff series.

Parise and Pominville each had a goal and an assist, and Granlund had two assists. Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk made 17 saves for his first career playoff shutout. Right winger Nino Niederreiter added an empty-net goal.

The Blues got a 21-save performance from goalie Jake Allen, but were frustrated offensively all night and lost their ninth consecutive playoff road game.

PITTSBURGH -- New York built a two-goal lead, then held on for a win over Pittsburgh to take a 2-1 lead in their first-round Eastern Conference playoff series.

Left winger Carl Hagelin scored on a breakaway in the first period, and center Chris Kreider scored in the second period for a 2-0 New York lead.

Right winger Patric Hornqvist broke up a potential shutout for Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist with a third-period goal.
