Rangers 2, Penguins 1 (overtime)
Kevin Hayes scored in a goalmouth scramble 3:14 into overtime to
give the New York Rangers a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins and
a 3-1 lead in their first-round Eastern Conference playoff series.
Patric Hornqvist picked up his second goal in as many games for
Pittsburgh in the first period before Derick Brassard tied it in the
second.
The goal gave Brassard 21 points (12 goals, nine assists) in 21
career games against the Penguins, including three goals in the
current series.
Each game in the series has been decided by one goal going into
Friday's Game Five at Madison Square Garden.

Senators 1, Canadiens 0
Mike Hoffman scored with 10:55 left in regulation as the Ottawa
Senators staved off elimination with a 1-0 victory over the Montreal
Canadiens in Game Four of their playoff series.
The Canadiens, who lead the best-of-seven series 3-1, will have
another chance to put the series away in Game Five on Friday in
Montreal.
Senators goaltender Craig Anderson had 28 saves, while his Canadiens
counterpart Carey Price stopped 31 of 32 shots.
Hoffman, who led the Senators in goals with 27 during the regular
season, had been demoted to fourth-line duties in recent weeks
because of his defensive play.

Ducks 5, Jets 2
The Anaheim Ducks completed a four-game sweep of Winnipeg to become
the first team to advance to the second round of the NHL playoffs.
Ryan Kesler scored a pair of third-period goals to lead the way for
the Ducks, who now await the winner of the Calgary v Vancouver
series. The Flames lead that best-of-seven series 3-1.

Kesler scored at 6:41 of the third period to hand the Ducks at
two-goal cushion before defenseman Sami Vatanen closed out the
victory with an empty-net goal.
Ducks netminder Frederik Anderson finished with 25 saves.

Blues 6, Wild 1
The St. Louis Blues hammered Minnesota 6-1 to square their
best-of-seven Western Conference series at 2-2.
Vladimir Tarasenko scored twice while Ryan Reaves, David Backes,
Paul Stastny and Patrik Berglund also scored for the Blues, who led
3-0 barely halfway through the first period.
St. Louis goalie Jake Allen had 17 saves.
Game Five will be played on Friday in St. Louis.
Defenseman Jared Spurgeon scored the lone goal for Minnesota, who
looked tentative early on and sustained their most lopsided playoff
loss.
