Tyler Johnson's second goal of the game 2:25 into overtime completed
Tampa Bay's comeback from a two-goal deficit against Detroit and
tied their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series at two
games all.
Johnson also had an assist while Ondrej Palat had a goal and a
helper and goaltender Ben Bishop stopped 22 shots.
The Red Wings held a 2-0 lead deep into the third period but let it
slip away as the Lightning scored twice in a span of about a minute.
Gustav Nyquist and Joakim Andersson scored for Detroit and Petr
Mrazek stopped 26 shots.
Game Five is on Saturday in Tampa Bay.

Capitals 5, Islanders 1
Rookie center Evgeny Kuznetsov scored two goals and assisted on
another to lead the Capitals to a 5-1 win over the New York
Islanders that gave them a 3-2 advantage in their first round
playoff series.
Karl Alzner, Brooks Laich and Jason Chimera also scored for the
Capitals, who can clinch the best-of-seven series with a victory on
Saturday in New York.
Josh Bailey scored the only goal for the Isles, who are looking to
stay alive in their final season playing at the 43-year-old
Coliseum.
After three straight one-goal games, the Capitals dominated Game 5,
scoring five unanswered goals after giving up the first.

Predators 5, Blackhawks 2
Filip Forsberg netted a hat-rick and Nashville scored three goals in
a 2:27 span early in the third period to stave off elimination in
Game Five of their Western Conference first round series with the
Chicago Blackhawks.
James Neal broke a 1-1 tie 47 seconds into the final period, and
Colin Wilson and Forsberg followed with goals to give Nashville
control and help them cut their series deficit to 3-2.

Game Six is on Saturday in Chicago.
Forsberg added a late goal and also scored in the first for a
memorable night.
Chicago goaltender Scott Darling, who has been the series' story
after replacing ineffective starter Corey Crawford in Game One and
winning Games Three and Four, made 24 saves in his first postseason
loss.

Canucks 2, Flames 1
Daniel Sedin scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period as
the Vancouver Canucks used a win over the Calgary Flames to stay
alive in their first-round series.
The Flames still lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 with Game Six to
be played Saturday night in Calgary.
Nick Bonino also scored for Vancouver, who trailed 1-0 after the
first period.
David Jones scored for Calgary.
Facing elimination, the Canucks outshot the Flames by a two-to-one
margin and refused to be intimidated by Calgary's bruising style.
Canuck goaltender Ryan Miller, making his first start of the series,
stopped 20 shots while Calgary goalie Jonas Hiller made 41 saves.
