4-H Oral Communications Contest results announced

[April 28, 2015]  LINCOLN - Logan County 4-H recently held its annual Oral Communications Contest. State Fair delegates selected included Reagen Tibbs (Formal Speech), Middletown; Molly Schempp, (Illustrated Speech), Atlanta; and Caleb Squaire (Oral Interpretation), Lincoln.

State Fair alternates are Cavit Schempp (Illustrated Speech), Atlanta; and Sarah Starasta (Oral Interpretation), Lincoln. All were blue award winners. Livia Harmon (Extemporaneous Speech), from Beason, was selected as the top oral communicator and received a plaque sponsored by P/K Hobby Farm.

Additional participants included blue award winners Chloe Squaire, Nathan Squaire, and Stephen Starasta, all of Lincoln, and Livia Harmon of Beason.

Judges for this year's contests were Judy Busby, of Lincoln and Christina Xamis, of Springfield.
