							Obituary 
							Margie M. Rich, 79, of Waynesville passed away on 
							Friday, July 24, 2015 at 1:28 a.m. at OSF St. Joseph 
							Medical Center.  
							 
							Funeral Services for Mrs. Rich will be held on 
							Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the 
							Waynesville Christian Church with Mr. Dave Taylor 
							officiating. 
							 
							Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00 
							p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church. 
							 
							Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in 
							Waynesville. 
							 
							Margie Marie Karrick was born on May 26, 1936 in 
							Atlanta the daughter of Orville and Iona B. Lang 
							Karrick. She was united in marriage for 62 years to 
							Kenneth Vern Rich on July 4, 1953 in Atlanta. He 
							survives. 
							 
							Also surviving are her children: Dennis (Patty) Rich 
							of McLean, Joni (Jess) Turner and Julie (David) Rich 
							both of Waynesville. Five grandchildren: Jeremy 
							Rich, Jamie (Dale) Ballenger, Danielle (John) 
							Sellner, Megan Rich, Jason (Ashley) Rich. Nine great 
							grandchildren: Shianne, Skyler, Chaylynn, Joseph, 
							Tiler, Ashton, Josie, Payton and Allie. One brother: 
							Wendell Lynn (Dora) Karrick of Glendale, Arizona, 
							one sister: Erma P. Drabing of Mount Pulaski.  | 
							
							 
                
                  
							She was preceded in death by one grandson: Justin 
							Turner, two brothers: Bill Karrick, Charles Karrick, 
							three sisters: Betty Denny, Norma McCray, Mertyl 
							Irene Karrick. 
							 
							Margie was a member of the Waynesville Christian 
							Church. 
							 
							She retired from the Waynesville Township Library on 
							October 1, 2014 after 50 years of service. She 
							started her employment at the library as an 
							assistant from 1964 - 1979 and moved to be the 
							Library Director from 1979 thru 2014. 
							 
							Margie loved working at the Library with the kids. 
							She was an avid book reader and loved sharing her 
							knowledge on reading material. 
							 
							Memorials may be made to the Waynesville Christian 
							Church or the Waynesville Township Library. 
							 
							Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family 
							with funeral arrangements.
