Sharks re-sign G Dell

 The San Jose Sharks re-signed goaltender Aaron Dell to a one-year contract Monday.

Dell, 26, posted a 15-8-2 record with a 2.06 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage to go along with four shutouts in 26 games with Worcester of the American Hockey League last season. He also posted an 8-1-2 record with a 2.84 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage in 12 games with Allen of the ECHL.

In 32 career AHL games with Worcester and Abbotsford, Dell has compiled a 16-10-2 record with a 2.09 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage. In 41 career ECHL games with Allen and Utah, he has posted a 27-8-5 record with a 2.34 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.

The 6-foot, 210-pound native of Airdrie, Alberta, was originally signed as a free agent by San Jose on March 4.
