On Tuesday morning, the 79th
Annual Logan County Fair officially kicked off with a ribbon cut
with the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber Ambassadors. In addition to
several ambassadors being on hand, Logan County Alliance director
Andi Hake was present for the cut, along with representatives of the
city of Lincoln and Lincoln Rural Fire Departments, members of the
Logan County Fair Association Board of Directors, and 2014 Miss
Logan County Fair Queen Alyssa Beth Morris and 2014 Little Miss
Logan County Chloe Bottom.
The day started with a presentation of colors by the American Legion
Post 263 Color Guard and the singing of the National Anthem by
Lesleigh Bennett.
Fair Association President Dean Bruns then offered up some welcoming
comments before stepping aside and turning the scissors over Queen
Alyssa and Little Miss Chloe.
The fair will run through Sunday with plenty of action going on all
week.
