Obituary
Ruth Dittus, 95, passed away at 6:03 a.m. on August
8, 2015 at St. Clara’s Manor of Lincoln.
Ruth was born on February 15, 1920 in Ft. Wayne, IN;
daughter of Craig and Nellie Hunter Salyers. She
married Gerald Dittus on November 3, 1946 in
Chestnut. He preceded her in death on August 15,
1996.
Surviving Ruth is her daughter: Kristy (Keith)
Baughman of Lincoln; three grandchildren; one step
grandchild; two great-grandchildren. Ruth was
preceded in death by her parents, one son Dennis
Dittus, and two sisters, Helen Smith and Fern Myers.
Ruth was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church,
Senior Oasis Center, WARP, and Good Shepherd
Lutheran Church Women’s Club. |
Services for Ruth will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August
15, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln with Rev. Roger David officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial at Laenna Cemetery in Chestnut will follow
the service. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd
Lutheran Church of Lincoln.
