[August 11, 2015]  MOUNT PULASKI - Jennie I. Allsopp, 90, of Mount Pulaski, passed away peacefully at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
 

Visitation: From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday August 11, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski

Service: Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home

Obituary

Jennie I. Allsopp, 90, of Mount Pulaski, passed away peacefully at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Jennie was born on November 19, 1924 in Olive Branch, to Montgomery and June Moore Green. She married Winfred Allsopp Jr. on January 1, 1946 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2005.

Surviving is one son William (Carla) Allsopp of Escondido, CA, one daughter, Peggy (Dennis) Miller of Middleburg, PA, one brother, Phillip (Ann) Crawford, of Florida, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Terry and James, one daughter Connie Logan, one grandson and two sisters.

 

Jennie was a member of the Mount Pulaski First United Methodist Church; she retired from the State of Illinois, and collected angels.

Services for Jennie will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening August 11, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski with Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. immediately preceding the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mount Pulaski First United Methodist Church or Vonderlieth Living Center.
