Reds 7, Padres 3
Rookie starter Raisel Iglesias retired 16 straight batters after
serving up a three-run homer to Matt Kemp in the first innings as
the Cincinnati Reds posted a 7-3 victory over the San Diego Padres.
Reds first baseman Joey Votto was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in
the ninth inning off Padres left-handed reliever Frank Garces. He
scored three runs and stole a base.
Right fielder Jay Bruce had a two-run triple for the Reds.

Astros 2, Giants 0
Colby Rasmus and Jed Lowrie belted solo home runs to complement the
five-hit pitching of Scott Feldman and four relievers, earning the
Houston Astros a 2-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
Rasmus broke a scoreless tie with the home run, his 15th of the
season, off Giants starter Chris Heston leading off the seventh
inning.

Phillies 7, Diamondbacks 6
Philadelphia catcher Cameron Rupp homered and drove in four runs
while rookie Aaron Nola won his third game in the Phillies' 7-6
victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Rupp's three-run homer off reliever Keith Hessler capped a four-run
sixth inning for the Phillies.
Arizona first baseman Paul Goldschmidt had three hits and a walk,
drove in two runs and scored two to improve his National
League-leading batting average to .341.

Marlins 14, Red Sox 6
J.T. Realmuto had a grand slam, a triple, a single and six RBIs to
lead the Miami Marlins to a 14-6 win over the Boston Red Sox.
Realmuto set a Marlins record with five RBIs in one inning.

Mariners 3 Orioles 0
Seattle pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma became the 291st pitcher in baseball
and the first in the American League since 2012 to throw a
no-hitter.
The right-hander needed 116 pitches to beat the Baltimore Orioles
3-0, with three walks standing in his way of a perfect game.

Blue Jays 10, Athletics 3
Chris Colabello and Justin Smoak each hit three-run homers, while
R.A. Dickey pitched six innings as the Toronto Blue Jays extended
their winning streak to 10 games by defeating the Oakland Athletics
10-3.
Colabello finished with two hits and four RBIs.
Dickey (7-10), the Blue Jays' knuckleballer, allowed six hits, two
walks and three runs while striking out four.

Mets 3, Rockies 0
Jacob deGrom threw seven shutout innings and combined with two
relievers on a three-hitter as the New York Mets beat the Colorado
Rockies 3-0.
Third baseman Juan Uribe and first baseman Michael Cuddyer delivered
back-to-back, two-out RBI hits in the fourth inning for the Mets.

Indians 2, Yankees 1
Cleveland's Danny Salazar and Cody Allen combined on a four-hitter,
while the Yankees' offensive woes continued as the Indians beat New
York 2-1.
It's the fifth successive loss for the Yankees, who have only scored
six runs in the five games.
The right-handed Salazar (10-6) pitched 7-1/3 innings, allowing one
run on four hits. He struck out eight and walked five.

Rays 9, Braves 6
The Tampa Bay Rays rallied for six runs in the seventh inning to
beat the Atlanta Braves 9-6.
The Rays won their fourth succesive game despite trailing 6-3 in the
seventh.

Cardinals 4, Pirates 2
A rare Yadier Molina triple enabled the St. Louis Cardinals to
clinch a 4-2 win over the Pirates.
Molina's triple in the bottom of the sixth inning scored center
fielder Randal Grichuk after right fielder Gregory Polanco tried for
an ankle-high catch but missed as the ball rolled past him and to
the wall.
It was just the fifth triple of Molina's 12-year big league career,
but his second in three weeks.

Twins 11, Rangers 1
The Minnesota Twins kept their foot on the gas as they rolled to a
11-1 victory over the Texas Rangers.
Twins designated hitter Miguel Sano cracked two homers and drove in
six runs while center fielder Aaron Hicks tied a career high with
four hits.

Cubs 3, Brewers 2 (10 innings)
Catcher Miguel Montero slammed an 0-1 pitch to left for a
game-winning home run in the 10th inning as the Chicago Cubs beat
the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2.
The solo homer was Montero's 11th of the season and second career
walk-off.

Tigers 7, Royals 4
J.D. Martinez singled home the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as
the Detroit Tigers came from behind to beat the Kansas City Royals
7-4.

Dodgers 4, Nationals 2
Clayton Kershaw threw eight shutout innings and struck out eight,
boosting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-0 victory over the
Washington Nationals.
Kershaw retired the first 16 batters he faced before Nationals
center fielder Michael Taylor smacked a one-out double off the wall
in center in the sixth inning.
Kershaw (10-2), who had his 37-inning scoreless streak snapped in
his previous start against the Pittsburgh Pirates last Friday,
reached double digits in wins for the sixth successive year.

White Sox 3, Angels 2 (13 innings)
Chicago right fielder Avisail Garcia lined a double to the gap in
left-center field off left-hander Cesar Ramos with one out in the
bottom of the 13th to score Jose Abreu from first base and record a
3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
White Sox right-hander Matt Albers (2-0), Chicago's seventh pitcher
of the game, got the win after throwing two scoreless innings.
