Obituary
Helen M. Shewmake, 83, of Lincoln passed away at
1:02 p.m. August 25, 2015 at Memorial Medical
Center, Springfield.
Helen was born November 18, 1931 the daughter of
Merle and Geneva Hamilton Moore. She married Glen
Shewmake in December of 1953 in Harrisburg. He
preceded her in death in 1995.
Surviving Helen are her children; Ricky (Evelyn)
Shewmake of Lincoln, Debra (Roger) Clausen of
Whitewright, TX, Steven Shewmake of Rantoul, James
Shewmake of Rhode Island, siblings; William
(Carolyn) Moore of Florida and Maude (Andy) Hornbeck
of Oregon, ten grandchildren, and ten great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, one son, Mickey Shewmake, and four
siblings. |
Cremation rites for Helen have been accorded. There
will be a private family service held at a later
date.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
