[August 28, 2015]  LINCOLN - Wilma “Winnie” O’Brien, 87, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on August 22, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday, August 27 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home

Obituary

Wilma “Winnie” O’Brien, 87, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on August 22, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Wilma was born on May 4, 1928 in Riverton; daughter of Edward and Ethel White Shane. She was united in marriage to Billy J. O’Brien on October 4, 1971 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2015.

Surviving Wilma are her children; Linda Littrell of Lincoln, Bill (Connie) Yeazle of Atlanta, Dana (Debbie) Yeazle of North Carolina, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Ruth and Eileen.

Wilma attended Lincoln Christian church and had worked for many years at Lehn & Fink.

Services for Wilma will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 27, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial at New Union Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be made to The Humane society of Logan County.
