Obituary
Clara Nadine Coffey, 94, of Lincoln, passed away at
8:31a.m., Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at Memorial Medical
Center, Springfield. Nadine was born Oct. 8, 1921,
in Springfield, the daughter of Jay O. and Helen
Becker Primm of Athens. She married J. Marshall
Coffey on Sept. 15, 1941, in Lincoln. Marshall
preceded her in death March 15, 1983.
Nadine loved her family, traveling and winters in
Sun City, AZ. She was a member of Hartsburg United
Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher, 4-H
Leader, Linpro Square Dance Club and member of
Abraham Lincoln Chapter - Daughters of the American
Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband;
brother, Delbert Primm; grandson, Galyn Cross. |
Nadine is survived by her daughter, Donna Cross of
Lincoln; three grandchildren, Vicki Johnson of
Lincoln, Daniel (Angela) Cross of Enterprise, AL.,
Scott Cross of Springfield; seven
great-grandchildren; two nephews, John (Karen) Primm
of Athens, and Rex (Barb) Primm of Metamora.
Services for Nadine will be at 11a.m., Wednesday,
Dec. 2, 2015, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln with Pastor Tami Werschey-Kessinger
officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11
a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery,
Emden.
Memorials may be given in Nadine’s name to Hartsburg
United Methodist Church or Christian Village Nursing
Home.
