[December 04, 2015]  Dec 3 (The Sports Xchange) - Nick Foles will start at quarterback again this week for the St. Louis Rams while Case Keenum continues to recover from a concussion.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher announced Thursday that Keenum remains in concussion protocol but could be cleared before Sunday's game against the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals. If Keenum is available, he would serve as the No. 2 quarterback.

Keenum was injured when he landed on the back of his helmet during a loss two weeks ago to the Baltimore Ravens.

Foles started last week in the Rams' 31-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He was replaced late in the blowout by Sean Mannion, who will be the backup again if Keenum is not able to play.

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis missed practice again on Thursday and appears unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

Revis suffered a concussion against the Houston Texans on Nov. 22 and has not practiced since. Jets coach Todd Bowles does not believe Revis will play.

The Jets were hoping Revis would return this week as the Giants feature standout receiver Odell Beckham. New York may be forced into using Antonio Cromartie to cover Beckham, which is a potential mismatch.

The Cincinnati Bengals were without tight end Tyler Eifert for the second consecutive day because of a neck injury.

Eifert made a heads-up play on Sunday when he trailed running back Gio Bernard's long gainer putting him in position to recover the fumble after Bernard was stripped from behind.

However, Eifert's hustle proved costly as he suffered a stinger and was forced to leave the game.

Tests showed no structural damage but the fact that he missed the two primary practice sessions this week would indicate that he is doubtful for Sunday's game at Cleveland.

Eifert leads all NFL receivers with 12 touchdown catches this season.

Atlanta running back Devonta Freeman has fully recovered from a concussion and will be back on the field when the Falcons visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Freeman suffered his concussion on Nov. 22 against the Indianapolis Colts. He missed the rest of that contest and sat out last Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Freeman was a full practice participant on Thursday. The 5-foot-8 Freeman has rushed for 764 yards and nine touchdowns this season.

The Green Bay Packers promoted running back John Crockett to the active roster from the practice squad and released running back Alonzo Harris.

Crockett is a rookie from North Dakota State who was signed by the Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May and has been on the practice squad all season.

Harris, a rookie from Louisiana-Lafayette, has played in six games for the Packers this season and rushed for 19 yards on four carries.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy underwent minor surgery on his left hand earlier this week and said he hopes to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

McCoy described the surgery as "a small procedure". He injured the hand during last Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. McCoy leads the Buccaneers with seven sacks.
