Lady Wolverines clinch 8th grade Regional Championship

[December 08, 2015]  LINCOLN - The 8th grade West Lincoln Broadwell Lady Wolverine Basketball Team clinched the IESA Regional Championship over Springfield Calvary by a score of 52-20.

Madelyn Koehler led all scorers with 19 points as Leah Schneider finished with 18. Also scoring in the victory, were Makayla Anderson 5, Adrienne Tiffany 2, Brooke Montcalm 4, Madison Orebaugh 4.

Madelyn Koehler was extremely aggressive on defense and grabbed 7 steals to lead the attack as Leah Schneider picked up 4. Leah Schneider also led on the boards with 7 rebounds as Madison Orebaugh grabbed down 4.

The Lady Wolverines will travel to Decatur Lady Our Lourdes in a much anticipated rematch game as Lourdes is the only team to give the Lady Wolverines a loss.

Please come and support the Lady Wolverines as the game is at Decatur Lady Our Lourdes School, 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday December 9th. The Lady Wolverines would love to pack their place with Wolverine Pride!
