Lincoln Police investigates Friday
night death

LINCOLN
- The city of Lincoln Police Department is currently investigating a
death that occurred on Friday night in the 400 block of Pulaski
Street. On Saturday afternoon, Police Chief Paul Adams issued the
following statement in response to questions about the case.

"At
about 11:00 p.m. yesterday (Friday), Lincoln Police were called to
the 400 block of Pulaski Street in reference to a well-being check.
Detectives are currently investigating a death at the location. At
this time, we do not have any information that would indicate
murder. We will continue to investigate the matter, and if anyone
has any information, please contact CrimeStoppers at 217-732-3000.
"As with any death investigation, we always investigate as if it was
a homicide until it is ruled out."
