Obituary
Connie B. Traum, 64, of Hartsburg passed away at
11:07 a.m. December 13, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.
Connie was born July 8, 1951 in Savanna, the
daughter of William and Arloene Montague Green. She
married Terry L. Traum on November 3, 1973 in
Lanark. He survives.
She is also survived by her children, Kimberly
(Mike) Shoultz, Brandyn (Heidi) Traum, Kristin Traum,
and Karyn Traum; her siblings, Kenneth Green, Donald
Green, Richard Green, and Bonnie Swisher; her
grandchildren, Daniel and Kenneth Bacon, and Nathan
and Nolan Traum.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her
brother Ronald Green.
Connie was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian
Church in Lincoln. She enjoyed Sunday drives, her
vast VHS and DVD collection, knitting and sewing.
She loved her occasional camping trips. Above all
else, Connie loved her family; she will be greatly
missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have
known her. |
Services for Connie will be at 12 noon Thursday,
December 17, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln with Connie’s niece Teresa Green
officiating. Visitation will be two hours (from
10:00 am-12:00 noon) prior to the service. Burial
will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Connie’s name to the
Donor’s Choice. Arrangements were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
