MOUNT
PULASKI - Elizabeth Ford, daughter of Kelby and Angie Ford of
Elkhart, has been named December- Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School.

She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of
scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
During her time at MPHS Lizzie has been very involved in sports and
activities. For the past 4 years she has been a member of the Spirit
Squad, FFA (she currently serves as President), and Soccer (she was
captain for the 2015 season). She has also been involved in National
Honor Society and was a member for the basketball team, both for 3
years. She has also been involved with student council.
Lizzie was also a Girls State Participant, she is an Illinois State
Scholar, a member of the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church, and she is
the reigning Miss Logan County for 2015.

Lizzie plans on pursuing a degree in Marketing.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food Center and
Johnson True Value Hardware. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to
the college they plan to attend. They are also in the running for the $500
Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
