The Lions came out with a hardnosed box and one defense
substituting a fresh set of legs every few minutes attempting to
slow down the scoring of freshman Skylar Hayes.
The Toppers pulled together as a team and balanced out the
scoring to counter the defense. The Toppers had a comfortable 30
to 11 half time lead and never looked back, winning 54 – 35.
Hayes led all scorers with 18 followed by 12 from Alyssa Bridge,
Hailey Moore 7, Ashley Houser and Elizabeth Seibert 5 apiece,
Morgan May 4 and Ainsley Chandler 3. Bridge also had 8 rebounds
on the night and Moore 5.
