"Mama
where is the Prince? I want to see him, please mama, I want to see
the prince." That was the expression of a young boy who heard that
Prince Juan Carlos from Spain would come to visit the city of New
York years ago.

Many years ago also, the Wise Men wanted to see the new King of
Peace who was born in a small town named Bethlehem. They wanted to
find Him to adore Him and to bring him presents. (Matthew 2: 1-2)
There were some shepherds who also went to see the new King Jesus
and adored Him. Every year we celebrate the coming of our King, our
Savior, Jesus Christ.
Thinking on all the activities during the Advent season and on
everything that is happening in our society, I wonder and ask
myself; where can we go to find the Messiah? At the same time, I
think that we don’t have to go too far because He is close to us. He
is in the homeless that we can see in the streets of any city. He is
in face of the baby who is crying because he is hungry. He is in the
woman who is being abused by her husband. He is in the elder person
who does not have anybody to visit her or him at the nursing home.
What about that person who is sick and does not have anybody who can
prepare a cup of tea for her or him? He is in the faces of the
victims of domestic or foreign terrorism.
Where is the new Prince? He is not too far from us. He is the One
who said that the one's who will find Him are those who look for him
in spirit and truth (John 4:24) Where are we looking for the new
Prince? Now that we have found the King, do we have any present for
Him? If it is your present, what is it?
According to the Gospel of Luke Chapter 2, Jesus received presents
from a small group scientists (the Wise Men) who brought presents to
the newborn King. They brought him gold, perfumes and myrrh. What do
we have for the new King?
