			at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday December 15, in Gays, as a result of a car 
			accident.

							James V. Dodge II, 54, of Newman, formerly of Mount 
							Pulaski, died at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday December 15, in 
							Gays, as a result of a car accident.  
							 
							James was born on January 13, 1961 in Springfield, 
							to James V. and Grace Aiello Dodge. He married 
							Barbara French on September 6, 1980 in Mount 
							Pulaski.  
							 
							Surviving is his wife Barbara Dodge of Newman, three 
							sons; Thomas (Abigail) Dodge of Sierra Vista, AZ, 
							Tyler (Shaundi Whitson) Dodge of Rantoul, and Andrew 
							Dodge of Newman; one daughter, Danielle Dodge of 
							Bloomington, three sisters; Susan (Joe) Loucka of 
							Beach Bluff, TN, Katie (Jerry) Adams of Downers 
							Gove, and Roseann (Randy) Sank of Lincoln, and two 
							grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 
							parents and one son James V. Dodge III.

							James was a United States Army Veteran, serving in 
							Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004. He worked 
							for the State of Illinois in building maintenance. 
							He enjoyed coaching sports for his children 
							including baseball, basketball and softball. 
							 
							Services will be 12:00 noon Friday December 18, 2015 
							at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski with Father Angel Sierra officiating. 
							Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon 
							prior to services. Burial will be in Mount Pulaski 
							Cemetery where full military rites will be accorded. 
							Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans 
							Association.
