Obituary
Roma I. McCoy, 90, of Lincoln passed away at 8:55
p.m. December 13, 2015 at Christian Village,
Lincoln.
Roma was born August 6, 1926 in Lincoln the daughter
of Carl and Anna Kavelman Wilkie. She married Thomas
McCoy. He preceded her in death. She was also
preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul
Wilkie and sister, Bernice Wilkie Barrick. She was
the last of her immediate family.
Roma loved to be around people and have a good time.
She was loved by all who knew her. Her caregiver for
many years was Janet “Pete” Luckhart and Pete’s
family became Roma’s family.

Roma retired after many years working at General
Telephone Company. She was a member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church of Lincoln.
Graveside services will be held for Roma at 10:00
a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Union Cemetery,
Lincoln with Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial will
follow service. Memorials may be given in Roma’s
name to the Christian Nursing Home; St. Jude’s
Children’s Research or the Ronald McDonald House.
