The Toppers first met the Pawnee Indians in the morning
session and won in impressive fashion 54 – 24.
Skylar Hayes led all scorers with 27, of which 19 were in the
first half. Alyssa Bridge tossed in 13 in the effort while
Breanna Rentmeister had 6, and Tosha Boyer, Hailey Moore,
Elizabeth Seibert and Madison Thomas all had 2 to round out the
scoring.
The Toppers were a solid 18 for 21 from the charity strip and
had a group effort on the boards where 6 each was brought down
by Moore, Seibert, Hayes, Bridge and Rentmeister.
In the afternoon game, the Lady Toppers came up against the
Ponies from South Fork Kincaid where they continued their team
effort to produce another win, 64 – 44.
Skylar Hayes again led her team with 22 points while Bridge
ponied up 16, Rentmeister 8, Moore and Houser 4 apiece, and 2
each for Callie Anderson, Zoey Lowe, Fikirte Mott, Boyer and
Seibert.
Bridge led the Toppers in rebounds with 9 while Hayes had 8, and
Rentmeister and Moore 6 each. Hayes and Bridge also combined for
12 assists between the two.
The Lady Toppers 9-6 meet the host team, Tri-City, Tuesday
night.
