 The
Tornados put together a nice combination of inside and outside
offense, and a stifling box and one for the win 56 – 24.
The Lady Toppers were led in scoring by Ainsley Chandler with 7,
followed by Skylar Hayes 6, Alyssa Bridge 5, Hailey Moore 3, Emily
Wakeman 2, and Breanna Rentmeister 1. Hayes also had 6 rebounds on
the night.
December 30th – The Lady Toppers found themselves in a third
place battle Wednesday night against the Roxanna Shells.
The Shells only had three field goals on the night but kept the game
close from the line by shooting 41 free throws.
With only a 5 point lead at half time, the Lady Toppers were
scratching their heads and trying to find a way to get things
rolling. The Toppers never did catch fire but played steady enough
to pull out the third place victory, 48 – 38.

Skylar Hayes led all scorers with 29, while Alyssa Bridge knocked
down 10. Two each was contributed by Hailey Moore, Fikirte Mott,
Ainsley Chandler, and Ashley Houser, and Breanna Rentmeister 1.
Hayes assisted her team with 7 rebounds and 5 steals in the effort.
Hayes and Bridge were also selected to the All-Tournament team.
The Lady Toppers (10-7) will be back at home Monday night against
Athens.
