Toastmasters Club forming at Lincoln
College, Demonstration night to be held this Monday

LINCOLN - Michael Starasta, Librarian
at Lincoln College, has announced that this Monday, February 2nd
will be a special demonstration night for Toastmaster's
International. The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Alumni Room
of the Meyer-Evans Student Center.

Toastmasters International is an organization that provides
opportunities for participants to improve their public speaking
skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants can work at their own
pace while polishing their skills by providing various types of
speeches such as informative speeches, interpretive readings, and
humorous speeches. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18.
"My wife, Leslie, and I were both members of Toastmasters before we
moved to the Lincoln area and found it to be a very enjoyable and
rewarding experience," Starasta said.
