The 7th grade game went the full three sets with the Panthers
losing, 25-22, 11-25, and 16-25.
The Panthers were led in Service Points by Kaiya Hughes with 7
followed by Kate Miller and Saristen Morgan with 5 each. Brooke
Kitner led the Panthers in Kills with 7 followed by Morgan with 5.
Alivia Payne led the Assists with 19 followed by Kitner with 17, and
Morgan and Zoie Viner 11 each.
The 8th Grade Panthers were Victorious in two sets, 25-23 and 25-22
in close matches.
Brooke Kitner and Mackenzie Antoine led the Panthers with 6 Service
points each followed by Alivia Payne with 4. Antoine and Paityn
Hughes led in kills with 7 each followed by Kitner and Ashton
Rodriguez with 2 each. Rodriguez led in Assists with 38 followed
closely by Antoine with 32. Hughes and Kitner contributed with 17
each also.
The CEL Panthers next travel to Mount Pulaski for an 8th Grade
Tourney on Saturday, January 31st.
Following that the Panthers will host the Crusaders from Carroll
Catholic on Tuesday, February 3rd.
