Katherine Crossett is the January LTEC Student of the Month

LINCOLN - Katherine Crossett, daughter
of Larry & Amy Crossett, has been named January Student of the Month
for the Health Occupations program at the Lincolnland Technical
Education Center.

Katherine is a senior at Illini Central High School.
Ms. Karen Graber, instructor, selected Katherine because she is
highly motivated and has perfect attendance. Katherine goes above &
beyond what is expected. Ms. Graber says that Katherine is very good
student and is prepared for class every day. She always participates
in the daily class activities. Katherine consistently scores in the
top of the class. She performs the required CNA skills and works
hard to perfect the new skills. Katherine is an outstanding Health
Occupations Student and has an aptitude for nursing. She is
dedicated in her preparation in becoming a nurse and will be a very
capable & caring nurse.
Katherine is in National Honor Society and was the only girl last
year to make it to sectionals in golf.

Katherine has been accepted to MacMurry College for nursing.
Katherine’s future goal is to attend MacMurray and become a
Registered Nurse.
Katherine received a $50 dollars from the Kiwanis Club of
Lincoln who sponsors this award and honored her at a noon
luncheon.
