 Blues 2, Lightning 1 (Overtime)
Jaden Schwartz scored 1:16 into overtime to give the St. Louis Blues
a win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, extending their winning streak
to six games.
The win allowed the Blues (33-13-4) to tie a franchise record by
getting at least one point in 12 consecutive games, having gone
11-0-1 over that stretch.
The goalies were the stars of the night in the matchup between the
top two goal-scoring teams in the league.
Brian Elliott stopped 30 of 31 Tampa Bay shots in regulation while
Ben Bishop had 16 saves for the Lightning (32-15-5).

Predators 4, Maple Leafs 3
The Nashville Predators broke a team record with their ninth
straight home win in a triumph over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Mike Fisher had a goal and two assists for Nashville (33-11-6), who
improved to 20-2-1 at home.
Toronto (22-26-4) suffered their 10th straight loss to tie a team
record shared by the 1967 Maple Leafs, who won the franchise's last
Stanley Cup.

Ducks 5, Hurricanes 4 (Overtime)
The Anaheim Ducks surmounted penalty trouble and a two-goal deficit
to topple the Carolina Hurricanes in overtime.
Anaheim (33-12-6) were down 4-2 in the third period where Devante
Smith-Pelly and Corey Perry tallied to tie it. Perry found Ryan
Getzlaf for a one-timer 45 seconds into overtime, completing the
Ducks' rally.
The Hurricanes fell to 17-26-7.

Wild 3, Blackhawks 0
Mikko Koivu, Mikael Granlund and Jason Zucker all scored, and goalie
Devan Dubnyk had 24 saves for his third shutout since joining the
team as the Wild won their fourth in a row.
Chicago got 40 saves from goalie Corey Crawford, but could not
muster any offense and lost their second in a row.
The Blackhawks (31-18-2) have now gone more than 126 minutes without
a goal, after they were blanked 2-0 in San Jose on Saturday.
Minnesota fell to 24-20-6.

Panthers 4, Islanders 2
Jimmy Hayes scored two goals, including the game-winner 2:10 into
the third period, as the Florida Panthers edged the New York
Islanders.
Nick Bjugstad earned the assist on both of Hayes' goals.
 The Panthers (22-17-10) won for just the third time in their last 10
games to remain eight points behind the Washington Capitals for the
final wild card in the Eastern Conference.
Anders Lee scored both goals for the Islanders (33-16-1), who lost
their third straight, tying their longest losing streak of the
season.
New York lead the idle Pittsburgh Penguins by one point in the
Metropolitan Division.

Sabres 3, Canadiens 2
The Buffalo Sabres scored all the goals they needed in the first
period en route to a win over the Montreal Canadiens.
Jhonas Enroth made 32 saves for the Sabres (15-33-3), who finally
snapped their 14-game losing streak.
Brandon Prust and center David Desharnais scored for the Canadiens
(32-15-3).

Capitals 4, Kings 0
Troy Brouwer celebrated his 500th NHL game in style, scoring a pair
of goals to lead the Washington Capitals to a victory over the
visiting Los Angeles Kings.
Braden Holtby stopped all 27 shots he faced to pick up his sixth
shutout of the season.
The win moved the Capitals (26-15-10) past the Boston Bruins and
into seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings with 62
points.
The loss was the Kings' (21-17-12) sixth in seven games.

Devils 2, Senators 1
Mike Cammalleri recorded his league-leading seventh game-winning
goal of the season in the New Jersey Devils win over the Ottawa
Senators.
The 32-year-old center snapped a 1-1 tie early in the third period
to provide the Devils (20-22-9) with their sixth win in the last 10
games.
Center Curtis Lazar scored for Ottawa (20-20-9).

Coyotes 4, Blue Jackets 1
Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored his 15th goal of the season
-- tops among NHL blue-liners -- and the Arizona Coyotes eased to a
win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Larsson's goal, a power play score at 2:32 of the second period, was
the game-winner for Arizona (19-26-6).
The Blue Jackets (21-25-3) have lost four of their last five games.

Avalanche 3, Stars 2 (Shootout)
Maxime Talbot scored the clinching goal in the shootout as the
Colorado Avalanche capped an impressive comeback with a shootout win
against the Dallas Stars.
Talbot was Colorado's 11th shooter and he beat Stars goaltender Kari
Lehtonen far post to clinch the win for the Avalanche (22-18-11),
who trailed 2-0 after two periods.
Colorado goaltender Semyon Varlamov stopped 30 of 32 shots to earn
the victory.

Canucks 3, Jets 2 (Overtime)
Defenseman Luca Sbisa scored 36 seconds into overtime to give the
Vancouver Canucks a win over the Winnipeg Jets.
Radim Vrbata carried the puck into the Jets' end, then passed it to
Sbisa, who scored his third goal of the season.
The Canucks (28-18-3) won for the second time in three games, while
the Jets (26-18-9) fell to 0-4-1 in their past five games. (Editing
