Obituary
William Dale "Billy" Skelton, 55, of Middletown,
passed away January 31, 2015 in Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside
services will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1
p.m. in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home has been
entrusted with his care.
Billy was born October 13, 1959 in Lincoln,
the son of Richard Raymond Skelton and Mabel Ruth
(Wilson) Skelton.
Billy was a plumber. He enjoyed Nascar, especially
Danica Patrick and Mark Martin. He loved to dance
and sing and was the life of the party. His
grandchildren were the light of his life.
Surviving are his mother Mabel Ruth Skelton and
her significant other Bill Quast of Middletown, his
children: Chandra Skelton of Huntsville, MO., Amanda
(Chris) Young of Moberly, MO., Dale Skelton of
Huntsville, MO., and Chrystal (Josh) Czerniak of
Alford, TX.; 10 grandchildren; his fiance Cheryl
Busick of Bloomington, his siblings: Dick (Deb)
Skelton of Lincoln, Jenny (Harold) Stout of
Middletown, Jackie Poole of New Holland, Carol
Renfro of Middletown, Sharon Marcum of Seattle, WA.,
Deb (Don) Frakes of Middletown, Syb (Joe) Liesman of
Harrisburg, Kelly (Rick) Hoffert of Middletown, Tim
(Judy) Skelton of Mason City, and Thomas Russell
"Rusty" (Stacy) Skelton of Middletown. He is also
survived by many nieces and nephews. |
He was preceded in death by his father, his
brothers: Joseph "Joe" Skelton, David "Pip" Skelton,
and Jerry Skelton, an his sisters: Patsy Skelton,
Ruthann Hoffert, Deany Baker, Kasey Brooks, and
Cheryl Himes.
Memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
