							Obituary 
							 
							Mary Jane Gayle Anderson, passed away from her 
							earthly home on February 5, 2015. She was born in 
							the Deaconess hospital on March 10, 1922 to Ralph 
							and Golden Irwin Gayle. The family resided on a farm 
							near Beason, Illinois. She attended Harmony and 
							Beason grade schools and graduated from Beason High 
							School in the class of 1940. She enrolled in the 
							nursing school at the Deaconess School of Nursing 
							where she earned her registered nursing degree in 
							1943.
 She is survived by Charles W. Anderson. They were 
							married July 22, 1945. They have lived in Logan 
							County and Lincoln most of their adult lives. 
							Recently they moved to Westminister Village in 
							Bloomington. She is survived by two daughters: 
							Virginia Gayle Johnson, wife of Kenneth who reside 
							in Sterling, and Susan Elizabeth Anderson, wife of 
							Carl Bennett who reside in Bloomington. She has six 
							grandchildren: Darren Johnson (Meredith), Kathryn 
							Stroyan, Emily Bozek (Joseph), Peter Stroyan 
							(Jennifer), Teri Johnson, and David Bennett. Mary 
							Jane is survived by seven great grandchildren: 
							Alikah Marshall, Aiden and Piper Stroyan, Alexander 
							and Jackson Johnson, Travis Campbell, and William 
							Bozek.

							Mary Jane and Charlie traveled in their Avion 
							trailer to all 48 states, Canada, and Nova Scotia. 
							She was a member of the First United Methodist 
							Church of Lincoln for 50 plus years and loved to 
							attend the services as well as the Circle meetings. 
							She truly enjoyed helping in the office of the 
							church as well as furnishing food for funeral 
							dinners. Also, she was active in her community 
							through social services organizations. She was a 
							born nurse and loved helping people when they were 
							ill.
 Services for Mary Jane will be at 11:00 a.m. 
							Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home with Rev. 
							Michael Paulson officiating. Burial will follow at 
							New Union Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 
							9:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the 
							funeral home. Memorials may be given in her name to 
							the Hannah Circle of First United Methodist Church.
