Heartland Community College hosting Information Night February 26

- Heartland Community College is hosting Information Night on
Thursday, February 26 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Workforce
Development Center, 1500 W. Raab Road, Normal. The event gives all
college-bound students information on aspects of preparing for and
attending college.

Campus tours start at 5:30 p.m. and will be available throughout
the night. Attendees can also participate in various breakout
sessions beginning at 6:15 and 6:45 p.m. Session topics include:
- Advising and Career Choices
- Admissions and Enrollment
- Scholarships and Financial Aid
- Selective Admission Programs (Nursing, Radiography, Physical
Therapist Assistant)
The event will feature an additional breakout session at 6:00
p.m. on Heartland’s renewable and sustainable energy programs.
Information on all of Heartland’s academic programs will be
available in a fair-like format with representatives available
for questions.
“HCC is a great place to start your college journey,” said
Candace Brownlee, director of admissions and student
recruitment. “Information Night is your opportunity to come out,
see the campus and learn how our programs can fit your
educational goals.”

Attendees will also have the chance to win a $250
scholarship.
