Oasis to compile a new cookbook in 2015
Seeking submissions from members  

[February 09, 2015]  The Oasis Senior Center, 2810 Woodlawn Rd., Lincoln, is compiling a new cookbook!

It will be a terrific treasure and resource for years to come. We are asking our members to submit their best family recipes. We want those time-tested dishes family members always served and/or the side dish that completes the holiday meals.

Up to three recipes per member will be published. That way all of our members have a chance to have their special recipe in print. Let us know a little bit about why this recipe has stood the test of time in your family; why you think it is so good and/or where it originated from.

So, on those snowy January and February days when you are staying inside, go through your treasured recipes. We look forward to your submissions.

Forms were mailed in the January-February newsletters. They may also be picked up at the Oasis reception desk. Deadline for recipe submission is February 27th.
