							MOUNT PULASKI- Robert Heath, 88, passed away at 
							12:12 p.m. on January 2, 2015 at Christian Village 
							Nursing Home in Lincoln.
 Robert was born on July 9, 1926 in Lincoln, 
							Illinois; son of Harley and Midge Latham Heath. He 
							was united in marriage to Gayle Handlin on December 
							20, 1975 in Lincoln. She survives him in Middletown.
 
 Also surviving Robert are his children: Jeff 
							(Brandy) Heath of Middletown; Roberta (Leo) Logan of 
							Lincoln; Ronnie Heath of Lincoln; Bobbie Heath of 
							Springfield; two step children: Jennifer (Geoff) 
							Schahl and Bobbie Hickey both of Lincoln; one 
							sister: Florence Moore of Phoenix, AZ; one 
							sister-in-law: Florence “Sis” Heath; eleven 
							grandchildren; four step grandchildren. He was 
							preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Becky 
							Heath, two brothers: Cotton and Freddy Heath, and 
							one granddaughter: Autumn Lynn Heath.

							Robert enjoyed watching the Cardinals baseball team 
							play ad loved to fish. He was a member of the VFW 
							Post #1756. He was the owner and operator of Lincoln 
							Garbage Disposal for 20 years and worked as the 
							custodian at Mount Pulaski High School until he 
							retired in 1995.
 A memorial service for Robert will be 10:00 a.m. 
							Friday January 9, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader 
							Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski with Mark Weber 
							officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. 
							Thursday January 8, 2015 also at the funeral home. A 
							burial at Camp Butler Cemetery will follow the 
							service where full military rites will be accorded. 
							Memorials may be given to the Mount Pulaski 
							Christian Church.
