Ducks 5, Jets 4 (SO)
Ducks defenseman Sami Vatanen decided a six-round shootout and
Anaheim came from two goals down in the third period to take a 5-4
victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
Winnipeg goalie Ondrej Pavelec made 39 saves in regulation and
overtime. Anaheim goalie Frederik Andersen made 28 saves.
Ducks center Rickard Rakell got his second goal and fourth point of
the night at 17:57 of the third period off a feed from left winger
Patrick Maroon to tie the score at 4-4.

Blackhawks 4, Wild 1
Marian Hossa, Brad Richards and Bryan Bickell each had one goal and
one assist to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-1 home win over the
slumping Minnesota Wild.
Goalie Corey Crawford made 36 saves as Chicago, which had lost four
of its previous eight games, improved to 28-13-2.
The Wild have lost five straight and 11 of their last 13 games,
falling to 18-18-5.

Panthers 4, Oilers 2
The Florida Panthers continued their most successful road trip of
the season with a 4-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.
Right winger Jimmy Hayes scored the lone goal of the first period
and the Panthers never trailed as they won for the fourth time in
five games on their western road swing.
Edmonton lost at home for the 16th time in 24 games. The Oilers were
9-1 in their previous 10 games against Florida. (Editing by Andrew
