Bruins and Panthers will face off for Seventh grade title

[January 12, 2015]  LINCOLN - In second round action of the Logan County Conference Seventh Grade Boys Basketball Tournament, the Mount Pulaski Bruins knocked down 8 of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter to defeat the West Lincoln-Broadwell Wolverines by a final of 46-39.

The Carroll Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Schools combined team went 1-1 on the day, winning their first round game against the host team; The Hartsburg-Emden Stags.

CC/NH-M/ZLS then lost to the CEL Panthers in the second round.

The Wolverines (14-2) will play CC/NH-M/ZLS Thursday evening at 6 p.m.

Mount Pulaski (16-2) moves on to face the Chester-East Lincoln Panthers for the conference crown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening.

Both games will be held at Jack D. Nutt Arena, inside the Lincoln Center on the campus of Lincoln College.
