SPRINGFIELD
– Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Director Dr. LaMar
Hasbrouck today launched IDPH’s updated website that is interactive,
user friendly, mobile friendly and offers more online services.
|
“We want to provide as much public health information as possible
in an easily accessible way, whether you’re on a computer, your
phone or a tablet,” said Dr. Hasbrouck. “Our updated website allows
people to easily access health information such as immunization
schedules or how to get a copy of your birth certificate. It also
allows health care professionals to quickly find how to report
information to IDPH, or how IDPH licensed professionals, like
plumbers and EMTs, can easily find license renewal information.”
What you will find on the IDPH website:
- Social media integration – access to Facebook, Twitter and
YouTube directly from the website; and the ability to Tweet IDPH
publications directly from the website.
- Robust search capabilities – quickly find what you need.
- Easy navigation using topics and services – frequent topics
just a click away.

- Interactive features - informational video, online form
capabilities and the ability to add an IDPH sponsored event
directly to an electronic calendar.
