Obituary
Margaret L. Sutton, 95, of Lincoln died at 11:50
p.m. January 12, 2015 at Symphony of Lincoln.
Margaret was born September 23, 1919 in Lawndale,
the daughter of Paul and Rosa Wise. She married
Claude W. Sutton in Clinton. He preceded her in
death October 24, 1984.
Margaret is survived by one son: David Wayne Sutton
of Lincoln, one brother: Jimmy (Emma) Wise of
Waynesville; six grandchildren; seventeen great
grandchildren and thirteen great-great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, one son: William “Bill” Cook, two
daughters: Elberta “Bertie” Moore and Judy Bowen;
one sister and three brothers.
Margaret had been a housekeeper at Lincoln College
and was a homemaker. She was a member of Lawndale
Christian Church. She also enjoyed cleaning
president Dooley’s home, of the college. |
Services for Margaret will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday,
January 16, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln with Michael Mallick officiating.
Visitation will be one hour (10:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m.) prior to the service. Burial will be in Zion
Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials may be made in her
honor to the Special Olympics of Lincoln.
