Islanders 6, Penguins 3
Right winger Kyle Okposo scored a career-high four goals, including
three in the third period, as the New York Islanders stormed from
behind to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3.
The Islanders (30-13-1) banged in four unanswered goals in the third
period to move into first place in the Eastern Conference.
Center Sidney Crosby scored twice for the Penguins.

Ducks 5, Devils 1
Anaheim dominated as right winger Jakob Silfverberg scored two
goals, and goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov notched his first victory since
rejoining the Ducks in a 5-1 home win over the New Jersey Devils.
Bryzgalov, who played for Anaheim from 2001-07, re-signed as a free
agent in December, and was making just his third start in relief of
Frederik Andersen.

Jets 4, Blackhawks 2
A pair of third-period goals 28 seconds apart by Bryan Little and
Chris Thorburn broke open a tie and led the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-2
road win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Jets won for the fourth time in five games and also posted their
third straight victory over the Blackhawks this season.

Rangers 2, Blue Jackets 1
Defenseman Marc Staal and center Chris Kreider scored for the New
York Rangers in a 2-1 road win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Center Derek Stepan had the primary assist on both goals for the
Rangers, who had not scored in their previous two games.

Predators 4, Capitals 3
The Nashville Predators scored twice in the final five minutes to
come from behind and beat the Washington Capitals 4-3, spoiling the
return of former coach Barry Trotz, who was dumped in April after 15
seasons.
Left winger James Neal scored the winning goal with less than two
minutes remaining as the Predators improved to 30-9-4.

Canucks 3, Hurricanes 0
Ryan Miller stopped 27 shots for his second shutout in as many
nights as the Vancouver Canucks scored three second-period goals to
beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-0.
No Western Conference team has more road victories than Vancouver's
