Once the T-shirts came off and the ball was tipped, the Toppers
were the ones who fought together the hardest and cruised to the
56-32 victory.
Twins Beau and Blake Collier dominated the first quarter by scoring
eleven points and guiding the Toppers to a 15-5 lead.
Mount Pulaski stretched that lead to 31-14 at the half as Blake
Collier and Dalton Litterly each scored four points to lead the
Toppers.
A sluggish third quarter accounted for only thirteen points scored
between the two teams as Mount Pulaski still held a commanding 37-21
lead.
Beau Collier and Michael Lowery, who have been the Toppers leading
scorers during the current win streak of seven games, each scored
seven points in the fourth quarter as the Toppers coasted to the
56-32 victory.
Beau Collier finished the night with a season high 18 points and
Lowery added 14 points. Blake Collier and Dalton Litterly each
finished with seven points. The Toppers improve to 10-7 on the
season.
The Toppers travel to Sangamon Valley Tuesday night.

At the end of the evening, according the cheerleading sponsor, Kelly
Aylesworth, the proceeds from the pork chop sandwiches, the 50/50
and the half court shots accounted for $275. The total from the
T-shirt sales was not readily available. All in all the evening was
a success and the Toppers appreciate the support.
