[January 17, 2015]  Jan 16 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Friday's National Basketball Association games:

Hawks 110, Raptors 89

Center Al Horford scored 22 points and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Toronto Raptors 110-89 to extend their winning streak to 11 games, a feat they last achieved in 1997.

The Hawks also recorded their 10th straight road win, extending a team record.

Guard DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 25 points in his second game back after missing 21 games because of injury, but it was not enough to prevent Toronto's sixth loss in eight games.

Thunder 127, Warriors 115

Kevin Durant scored 36 points and Russell Westbrook notched his ninth career triple-double to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 127-115 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Westbrook finished with 17 points to go with career highs of 16 assists and 15 rebounds as the Thunder improved to 19-20.

Guard Klay Thompson scored 32 points for the Warriors, who fell to 31-6, still the best record in the NBA.

Spurs 110, Trail Blazers 96

Forward Kawhi Leonard scored 20 points on his return from injury and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers 110-96. Leonard missed 15 games with ligament damage in his right hand.

Pistons 98, Pacers 96

Center Andre Drummond's tip-in with 0.3 seconds remaining lifted Detroit to a 98-96 road victory against the Indiana Pacers as the Pistons recorded their 10th win in 12 games.

Nets 102, Wizards 80

Center Brook Lopez overcame a day of trade rumours by scoring 25 of his 26 points in the second half as the Brooklyn Nets snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 102-80 road victory over the Washington Wizards.

Grizzlies 106, Magic 96

Reserve forward Jeff Green, in his second game for Memphis since being traded from Boston, scored 21 points, including 12 in the decisive fourth quarter, to lead the Grizzlies to a 106-96 road victory over the Orlando Magic.

76ers 96, Pelicans 81

Guard Michael Carter-Williams scored 22 points and center Nerlens Noel had 17 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 96-81 victory over the short-handed New Orleans Pelicans, who played without star forward Anthony Davis (sprained toe).

Bulls 119, Celtics 103

Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol led the Bulls to a 119-103 victory over Boston. The Celtics trailed by only two points entering the final quarter but faded for their 11th loss in 14 games.

Cavaliers 126, Clippers 121

Guard Kyrie Irving scored 37 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Los Angeles Clippers 126-121 on the road.

The Cavaliers had lost six in a row before beating the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.

Mavericks 97, Nuggets 89

The Dallas Mavericks welcomed back three starters and avenged a loss two nights earlier in Denver with a wire-to-wire 97-89 victory over the overmatched Nuggets.

Forward Dirk Nowitzki, point guard Rajon Rondo and center Tyson Chandler returned for Dallas after being rested on Wednesday.

Suns 110, Timberwolves 99

Goran Dragic scored 13 of his 21 points in the first seven minutes and Gerald Green led a big effort from the Phoenix bench with 19 points to help the Suns to a 110-99 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Jazz 94, Lakers 85

Small forward Gordon Hayward scored 31 points to help the Utah Jazz snap a three-game losing streak with a 94-85 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, who rested Kobe Bryant and lost their fourth in a row.

Heat 95, Kings 83

Forward Chris Bosh scored 30 points and front court mate Luol Deng scored added 25 as the Miami Heat beat the Sacramento Kings 95-83 victory on the road. The Heat won without leading scorer Dwyane Wade (strained hamstring).
