			 Scholarships may be awarded to students pursuing careers identified 
			by Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital as relating to its present and 
			future needs. 
 Award amounts range from $10,000 for an associate’s degree up to 
			$30,000 for graduate degrees. For every $2,500 awarded, the 
			recipient is contractually obligated to a one-year work commitment 
			at ALMH, with a maximum of a five-year commitment.
 
			
			 
			Graduating high school seniors, as well as students further along in 
			their healthcare studies are eligible to apply. Preferred career 
			fields this year include RN students graduating after 2016 (ADN or 
			BSN), physical therapy students who have been accepted into the 
			physical therapy program, physical therapy assistant, medical 
			laboratory technician, and medical laboratory scientist.
 Applicants must have strong ties to the Logan County community with 
			the intent to work in Lincoln upon degree completion. Applicants 
			must be currently attending or accepted into a fully accredited 
			school for their chosen field of study, and demonstrate a cumulative 
			grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale while maintaining 
			a “B” average in core classes.
