Dustin Murphy led the Bruins balanced attack with eight points,
while Tanner Farris added seven. Also scoring for the Bruins was
Garret Skelton (6), Brandon Kretizinger (3), Jonathon Shehorn (2),
and Ben Fricke (2).
For the Panthers, Nick Toft led all scorers with 10 points in the
loss, also scoring was Nate Arnold (5) and Isaac Dewberry (4).
The next game featured the #2 seeded Stags from Hartsburg-Emden and
#3 seed, West Lincoln -Broadwell Wolverines.
The Wolverines jumped out to an early 11-5 lead and took a 23-9
advantage into halftime. The Stags responded with an 18-9 third
quarter advantage. Both teams traded baskets and free throws in the
fourth quarter, but the Wolverines early scoring proved too much as
they emerged with a 41-36 victory.
Kaden Froebe led all Wolverine scorers with 24 points while Blaine
Robbins contributed 6. Also scoring for the victors was Shane
Shumard (4), Dreyden Pozsgai (3) Justin Long (2), and Payton
Anderson (2).
Brode Baker led the Stags with 12 points in the loss, while Austin
Hayes netted 10. Also scoring for H-E was Hunter Buck (8), Wyatt
Hopkins (3), and Dawson Watt (3).

In the final game of day one, the number one seeded Crusaders from
Carroll Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Schools faced
off against the game one winners; the Mount Pulaski Bruins.
The Crusaders with 19 points from Brayton Brown scored a 52-11
victory. Also scoring for the Crusaders was Denver Hoffert (12),
Drew Singleton (8), Dylan Singleton (4), Justin Nguyen (3), Jaden
Graham (2), Mark Maaks (2), and Payton Batley (2).
The Bruins got 3 points each from, Brandon Kretzinger, Jonathon
Shehorn, and Dustin Murphy, while Nolan Kirk added 2.
Matchups for Thursday's third place and championship games feature
the Bruins and Stags at 6:00 p.m. for third and the Wolverines and
Crusaders for the championship at 7:15 p.m.
