			MOUNT
PULASKI - The Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation is very excited to
announce the roll out of the new fundraising campaign, “Abe’s
Million”! This campaign’s mission is to help future generations to
come experience the legacy of Abraham Lincoln by raising the
one-million dollars needed to restore and preserve the Mount Pulaski
			Courthouse State Historic Site. |

            |
The Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation, in partnership with the
Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, is embarking on an ambitious
campaign starting in the year of 2015 to raise monies for
renovations needed to sustain the courthouse. The structural
integrity of the historic courthouse is in critical condition. This
discovery is what prompted the “Abe’s Million” campaign. This
campaign will focus on raising funds for major renovations due to
the critical nature of the Courthouses structural deficiencies.
“Abe’s Million” campaign will be hosting events and reaching out to
people around the world asking for their support to save this
uniquely important historic national treasure. The foundations
			invites you to visit the newly launched website;
mountpulaskicourthouse.org. There you can take a virtual tour of the
beloved Courthouse and view renovations that need to be addressed.
Donations are always appreciated and the website allows supporters
to donate with the simple click of a mouse.

To kick off the year of fundraising, the foundation is pleased to
bring the Millikin University Faculty Jazz band to the Old Brickyard
Gill and Pub this Saturday evening from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
