By the family:
"Dad will always be remembered
for his gentle spirit and kindness. He lived his
life with practical compassion, never realizing the
impact he had on so many people. His life was well
lived. He knew the love for family and his God. He
always knew in his heart and held it true, where his
inner strength came from. With all trials of his
life he never lost faith and hope. He instilled that
trust in God in his children and led his life just
that way. |
"He was extremely proud of his
Duroc hogs and shorthorn cattle that he successfully
exhibited as a youth passing this pride to his
children and grandchildren.
"People would describe him as a
soft spoken-mild mannered man, held with such high
regard.
"It broke our hearts to lose him, but he didn’t go
alone, a part of us went with him the day God called
him Home to be with his beloved wife, Blanche, of 68
years and his dear son, Larry. Dad, you will be
forever in our hearts, we love you.
