01/22/2015 MLB Note - New York Yankees Rodriguez, Alex
3B Alex Rodriguez, who sat out last year due to a season-long
steroids suspension, has been getting tips from Barry Bonds.
Rodriguez met with Bonds multiple times to get hitting tips as he
prepares for his return to the major leagues, spokesman Ron
Berkowitz confirmed to ESPN on Jan. 21. Rodriguez, 39, has three
years left on his contract and is owed $61 million. He needs six
more home runs to tie Willie Mays for fourth on the all-time list,
which would allow him to rake it another $6 million performance
			bonus.

December that could be career-ending. Doctors said it will be four
to six months before they know whether Scutaro will be able to
resume playing. In the meantime, the Giants plan to keep working
with Scutaro on his rehab. Scutaro is scheduled to make $6 million
in 2015, the final year of a three-year, $20 million contract he
signed in 2012. The 2012 National League Championship Series MVP
played in only five games last season because of the bad back.

			I am here."
