Wednesday, January 21 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Service:
A prayer service will be held at the Logan Oak
Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, immediately following
visitation

Obituary
Lincoln- John K. Ryan, age 62 of Paducah, passed
away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Jewish Hospital
in Louisville, KY.
He was a graduate of Murray State University Nursing
Program and was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
He was a Veteran in the Army and was part of MASH
807 and 933 FST. He was also a member of the Knights
Of Columbus. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign
Wars. John worked for TVA in Healtcare.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha
Vargocko Ryan; daughter, Katherine Lyons and husband
Richard, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; son, John Rex Ryan
and wife Nicole of Henderson, KY; two brothers,
Patrick Ryan and wife Deb of Sherman, IL, Dan Ryan
and wife Gena of Franklin, TN; five grandchildren,
Ethan Ryan, Isabelle Ryan, Alice Ryan, Mallory
Lyons, Hayden Rose Lyons, and soon to be another
grandson; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents, Robert Louis and
Helen Stroud Ryan.

A visitation will be held at the Lone Oak Chapel of
Milner & Orr Funeral Home Wednesday, January 21,
2015 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. A prayer service will be
conducted by Father Tom Buckman at the Lone Oak
Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home Wednesday,
January 21, 2015 at 7:30pm.
A Memorial Mass for Mr. Ryan will be officiated by
Rev. Jeffrey G. Liable at Holy Family Catholic
Church in Lincoln, IL Saturday, January 24, 2015 at
11:00am with a visitation starting prior to the
service at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Mary
Catholic Cemetery in Lincoln, IL.
In lieu of flowers the family requests all donations
be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of local
arrangements.
