Delavan senior hits 1,000 as Panthers defeat Mount Pulaski to win Tomahawk Conference

[January 24, 2015]  Delavan senior Karson Arrenholz scored the 1,000 point of his high school basketball career Friday night. Arrenholz hit the milestone as he connected for a three at the 2:20 mark in the second quarter.

The Panthers went on to defeat the Mount Pulaski Toppers 68-45 to pick up the Tomahawk Conference win.

Arrenholz finished the evening with 28 points, included six-threes. Currently Arrenholz's points stand at 1,019 and counting. Arrenholz does plan to play basketball in college, but has not made a college choice yet.

Also Friday night, the Panthers tied a school record by connecting for 15-threes as a team. In addition to Arrenholz's milestone, his teammate Andy Long is also on pace to hit 1,000 points this season and he finished with 22 points Friday night.
