Obituary
Larry L. Voiles, 74, of Atlanta passed away on
Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:13 p.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January
24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home
with Pastor Paul Weber officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time
of service.
Larry L. Voiles was born on October 1, 1940 in
Decatur the son of Henry John and Marjorie Hirstein
Voiles. He was united in marriage to Patricia A.
Moss on October 17, 1957 in Decatur. She survives.
Also surviving are his children: Penny Jo (Clark)
McAdams, Jill E. (David) Weaver, Lance (Melanie)
Voiles, Tricia L. (Scott) Vannoy. One brother: Mike
(Sheri) Voiles, One sister: Jodie Oller. Twelve
grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren. |
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry graduated from Decatur Eisenhower High School
and Mt. Vernon Bible College in Mt. Vernon, Ohio
He was a member of Teamster's Local # 916 from
Springfield.
He retired from USF Holland Trucking on October 16,
1998.
