Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio confirmed that the 23-year-old
Gordon is in line for a one-year ban for a violation of the NFL's
substance-abuse policy.
A source told Florio that Gordon tested positive for alcohol.
The Browns had to deal with their star wide receiver being suspended
10 games at the start of the season for violating the
substance-abuse policy. The Browns also suspended Gordon for the
season finale for violating team rules.

Former Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota may not throw at the
NFL Combine after suffering a sprain in a joint of his shoulder in
the national championship game loss to Ohio State on Jan. 12.
"Right now we're still making that decision, whether to throw at the
combine," the reigning Heisman winner told Honolulu's
staradvertiser.com. "I had to kinda rest about a week-and-a-half. I
sprained the AC (shoulder) joint. But now, I'm able to throw. Feels
good."
The combine will be held Feb. 17-23.

In their final practice before heading to Arizona for Super Bowl
XLIX, the New England Patriots appear healthy.
Rookie center Bryan Stork, who has been dealing with a knee issue,
continues to show no noticeable signs of injury, according to
ESPN.com.
Saturday's injury report listed cornerback Brandon Browner (knee),
linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), Chris Jones (elbow), wide
receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder, toe), defensive tackle Sealver
Siliga (foot) and Stork as questionable. Quarterback Tom Brady
(ankle) was designated as probable.

The Patriots are scheduled to fly to Arizona on Monday.

The Atlanta Falcons will interview Washington Redskins defensive
backs coach Raheem Morris for a position on the staff, the
Washington Post reported.
Morris, the former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is set to
accept a position with the Falcons, according to the newspaper.
Although the Falcons have yet to name a head coach, Seattle Seahawks
defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is the favorite to replace Mike
Smith.
