MOUNT
PULASKI - Blake Collier, son of Tonya Collier and Steve Collier of
Mount Pulaski, has been named January Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School. He was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Academically, Blake is one of the top students in the Class of
2015 at Mount Pulaski High School. Blake has been a member of the
varsity basketball and baseball team for 4 years, and has also been
a member of the spirit squad for 4 years. For 3 years he has been on
the WYSE team and a member of the National Honor Society. He played
Golf for 2 years, and has been a member of the Spanish Club and
Science Olympiad for 1 year.
Blake would like to attend a four year university, but is undecided
on where. He would like to pursue a career in the medical field.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food
Center and Mt. Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly award winners receive a $50
award paid to the college they plan to attend and compete for the
Senior-of-the-Year honor in May.
